ABOUT

I began my journey in acupuncture with a simple goal: to help people overcome chronic pain, fatigue, and sleep issues that affect daily life.

After earning my national license in 1995, I helped open an acupuncture practice in Suginami, Tokyo, in 1997. Over 28 years, I have treated more than 70,000 patients, addressing shoulder and neck pain, lower back pain, eye strain, chronic fatigue, autonomic nervous system imbalance, and sports injuries.

Through experience, I’ve learned that most physical issues stem from a combination of lifestyle habits, movement patterns, muscular tension, and nervous system imbalance. For this reason, I provide fully customised treatments that combine acupuncture with Shiatsu, massage, stretching, myofascial release, and cupping—selecting the most effective approach for each individual.

In 2023, I founded BODYWORKS AZABU to go beyond temporary relief, focusing on long-term recovery and helping the body maintain a healthier, balanced state.

Guiding You to a Pain-Free Life

Do you feel exhausted, yet unable to sleep? Do you wake up still feeling tired? Have you come to accept chronic pain as something unavoidable? I often meet people who have been living with these conditions for years, believing that nothing can be done. However, from my experience, many of these issues can be improved with the right approach. I have seen patients who begin to: - sleep more deeply - feel less burdened by chronic pain - move more freely in their daily lives At the same time, I want to be clear—most conditions do not improve in just one session. That is why I focus on understanding your body carefully and working step by step toward lasting improvement, rather than offering temporary relief. In my treatments, I combine acupuncture with techniques such as Shiatsu, massage, stretching, and myofascial release. By approaching the body from multiple angles—muscles, circulation, and the nervous system—I aim to restore balance and support your body’s natural healing ability. Another important factor I have observed is mindset. Patients who can envision a healthier version of themselves often progress more smoothly. Living with chronic discomfort can feel discouraging at times. But I believe the body has the capacity to change—when it is given the right care. My goal is not simply to provide temporary relief, but to help you build a body that can function comfortably for the long term. If you have been living with chronic pain, fatigue, or sleep issues, you don’t have to continue managing it alone. I would be glad to support you in taking the next step toward a healthier, more balanced state.
